Phaistos Osiris is a Cardinal World of the Imperium and the hub of the Osiris Sector due to its strategic location, large Schola Progenium facility, and religious worth as the home of the Basilica of Saint Throth. It is the Imperium's spiritual and administrative linchpin in the desolate sector.[1]
In 533.M39, the planet came under a massive Ork attack which was defeated by the Salamanders in what became known as the Fires of Phaistos.[1]
