Phased Crystal

Phased Crystals are a type of transmission system used by the Imperium, that is based upon crystalline technology. By subjecting a chain of crystal to varying fields made out of heat, pressure or energy, Phased Crystal can change their shapes, allowing for the transmission of signals but not power.[1]
Phased Crystals are used as regulators for other system and are the predominant component of monitoring devices.[1]
