Physokermes are creatures who hover just above the ground and project psychic barriers to protect themselves.[1]
Description
They often travel in groups of five and randomly blast anything that moves with pure warp energy. However it is believed they absorb sustenance from prey this way, so it may be how the Physokermes feed themselves. How these creatures came to be is unknown, though some theorize that Physokermes are a forgotten Tyranid lifeform. This may have merit, as the creatures have obvious similarities to Zoanthropes - though Physokermes are not as dangerous.[1]
Trivia
The Physokerme's miniature was created by the Games Workshop employee Ty Finocchiaro. It was featured in an older version of Games Workshop's website.[1]
