Pilgrimage of Macharius

The Pilgrimage of Macharius is an Imperial pilgrimage, which travels the same space lanes that Lord Solar Macharius' armies did during the Macharian Crusade.^[1]

Description

Every year, countless faithful of the Imperial Cult give up all of their material possessions to undertake the Pilgrimage. However while the Macharian Crusade lasted seven years, it can now prove the journey of a lifetime to complete the same journey. Because of this, only a few pious souls ever finish the Pilgrimage of Macharius, as most die in the attempt.^[1]
