Pious Vex

Pious Vex, the Patient Shadow, was a Mor Deythan, who took part in the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy's Dropsite Massacre.[1]
History
An expert marksman, who was a hero to his Legion, Vex used his skills to help the Raven Guard carve a path for their retreat on Isstvan V, as Warmaster Horus' forces fell upon them.[2]
"No one escapes their shadow."
He would be among his Legion's forces that survived the Dropsite Massacre, but unlike his remaining Battle Brothers, Vex was not focused on ensuring the survival of the weakened Raven Guard. Instead, he was among those that were pushed by rage and a desire for retaliation against the Traitors for the betrayal of their Legion. Vex then put his newfound zeal to work by gathering a squad of capable warriors to his side and began small-scale operations to strike back at the Raven Guard's foes. Under his leadership, Vex's squad would go on to dismantle traitor cells, as well as destroy any potential threats before they could harm his Legion.[4]
