Piscean Spektor[1b]

Piscean Spektors are House Delaque servitors created by taking a Piscean's brain and combining it with the house's technology[1]. They sometimes accompany the house's Psy-Gheists alongside their Psychoteric Wyrms.[1a]

Overview

These cybernetic entities are constructed around harvested Pisceans brains, allowing the Spektor to retain many memories from its prior existence and serve the clan house in accordance with an ancient pact between humans and its race.[1a]

The origins of the Pisceans are shrouded in mystery, even to the Delaque. It is believed they are an aquatic race that arrived on Necromunda millennia ago, establishing their home in its subterranean seas. Occasionally, ancient members of this race offer their brains to the Delaque, entering machines in a shared connection to the Psychoterica.[1a]

In life, a Piscean warrior is a ferocious aquatic alien, shark-headed and immensely strong.[1a]

Once its brain is interned in the shell of a Spektor, its connection to the Psychoterica is amplified, granting it psychic powers. Though it remains a formidable warrior, excelling in savage close-quarters combat, its true strength lies in its ability to channel the Psychoterica into strange and deadly psychic powers. This ability is what allows it to float through the air, rapidly climb structures, and move with a disturbing grace that belies its cumbersome form. When the Delaque anticipate trouble or plan an important assault, they often rely on their Piscean Spektors, who are perfectly adapted for combat in the underhive, driven by a truly alien lust for battle.[1a]
