Port Carmine is an important starport of Commorragh, home of the Dark Eldar. Second only in violent reputation to the Port of Lost Souls, Port Carmine hosts a dazzling array of spacecraft. It is from Port Carmine that Duke Sliscus, the infamous Eldar Corsair, stole his flagship Incessant Agony.

Currently, control of Port Carmine is being contested by two Kabals, the Kabal of the Slashed Eye and the Kabal of the Stolen Conscience. The two Kabals' warfleets battle endlessly over the Port.[1]

Locations

Iconoclast's Mound

Beneath Port Carmine there is a deep pit in an area few can find as it's reputably designed to be forgotten,[4] a vast area full of jewels, religious artifacts and relics[2] which reveals itself to those who would cast down gods.[4] These have all been dumped by Raiding parties returning from Realspace. It is rumoured to have started as a joke, but it has escalated into a tradition among the kabals there. Many beggars and parched scavenge the area, taking what they find from the plunder, but often too afraid to take any gold. [2] The mound of discarded icons grows larger after ever raid, but never seems to fill the pit – there is always more room for gods to be discarded on the mound.[4]

While no living Aeldari are old enough to remember, the floor of the pit is littered with the idols of the Eldar Pantheon.[4] These idols were detritus to the hedonistic pleasure cults which themselves lead to the Fall of the Eldar.[4]

The Bleak Pit

There is a sandy Wych arena in Port Carmine, known as the Bleak Pit, renouned for it's Wych fights.[3]
