The Laughing God The Harlequins worship a deity known as Cegorach the Laughing God, a trickster deity from the Eldar Pantheon who alone among the gods is believed to have survived the Fall of the Eldar, escaping into the webway while Slaanesh fought Kaela Mensha Khaine where he remains. Harlequins do not wear Soul Stones trusting instead in Cegorach to guard their souls from Slaanesh. Cegorach and his Harlequins protect the Aeldari and the knowledge of their history, especially the repository known as the Black Library of Chaos. Cegorach is rumoured to walk amidst the Harlequins themselves in disguise as a Harlequin Player.[1] .
