Power-board[1]
A power-board is fundamentally a toy. It is used in sky-surfing, a dangerous but highly popular sport. Athletes balance on the flying board while controlling their flight with body weight and a pressure foot throttle. The boards can reach extremely high speeds and can continue to hover while stationary. A board can carry a fully grown man with a reasonable amount of equipment, a heavy load significantly increased the chances of crashing.[1]
The boards can find a degree of military use amongst maladjusted, unbalanced and battle-crazed troops. However, a flight pack is a much saner and safer alternative.[1]
