Power Glaive
Power Glaives were power weapons wielded by the White Scars Legion during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.[1]
The Power Glaives were based on the ancient pole arms of Mundus Planus and was considered as much a mark of status amongst the White Scars as a weapon of war. Known in the language of the steppes tribes led by Jaghatai Khan as the Rising Moon Blade, the weapon was known both for its intimidating weight as well as the graceful sweeping strikes that characterised its use. Many of the blades in use among the White Scars were ancient weapons fitted with power generators and field emitters for use in the Emperor's Great Crusade, and proved equally deadly against those who were once their brothers in the dark years of the Horus Heresy.[1]
