The Proteus-class Warhead is an Imperial missile used in planetary defence scenarios.[1] It is fired by great defence cannons.[2]
Description
The Proteus-class Warhead is a large bore-diameter[1] rocket boost-assisted[2] missile[1] as big as a Thunderhawk[2] used to engage orbital target from a planetary surface.[1] The warhead itself has a fusion core as payload and is sheathed in adamantium, allowing it to penetrate its target's armour before exploding.[2] It commonly gets deployed against warships and sky-artillery platforms.[1]
