Proximal is an unpredictable and Feral, rad-scoured Imperial world.[1]
History
It is home to nomadic subterranean societies,[2] as well as scaver tribes that are given to superstition and obscure ritual.[1]
Proximal was brought into Compliance by the Salamanders, during the Great Crusade[1] and became one the Legion's Fief Worlds. As part of the Salamanders' fiefdom, in the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy,[2] Proximal served as a recruiting world for Aspirants[1]. It also provided the Legion with Solar Auxilia Regiments, known as the Proximan Sacramentii.[2]
