Pyoter Valk
Pyoter Valk is the Lord General of the Cadian 3rd Armoured Infantry, which he leads from the Stormlord Deus Imperator Vult. The Regiment is among the Astra Militarum forces that are under the command of Lord Castellan Ursula J. Creed.[1]
History
He was fighting elsewhere when Cadia was destroyed and Major Gideon Argent believes Valk has never been able to get over that. The Lord General is known to believe that his Homeworld would still exist, if he had been able to aid in its defense, during the 13th Black Crusade. Adding to his bitterness was that Valk sought to succeed Ursarkar E. Creed as the Cadians' next Lord Castellan, but the High Lords of Terra instead gave the position to Ursarkar's daughter Ursula. The Lord General feels that she is not worthy of the title and has said to many, that Ursula was only chosen due to Ursarkar being her father. Despite the High Lords' decision, Valk still considers himself to be the rightful Lord Castellan of Cadia and complains that occurrences like Ursula's, proves his point that the Astra Militarum is a hotbed of nepotism and corruption.[1]
