Pyromancy

Pyromancy is a Psychic Discipline that allows the Psyker to create and manipulate fire. The practitioners Pyromancy are known as Pyromancers[1] or Pyrokines.[6a] Pyromancy is one of the most common and spectacular forms of psychic ability, but its uses are fairly limited.[9]

Abilities
- Fiery Form: The Pyromancer transforms himself into pure flame, striking out at his foes and setting their souls ablaze.[1]
- Fire Shield: The Pyromancer throws up a towering wall of flame to protect him and his allies.[1]
- Flame Breath: A torrent of psychic flames pour from the Psykers eyes and mouth.[1]
- Inferno: The Psyker sets the air itself aflame, creating a whirling pillar of fire to sweep through enemy ranks.[1]
- Molten Beam: The Pyromancer blasts a white-hot beam of blazing energy from his palms.[1]
- Sunburst: The Psyker sings a wild, ancient song derived from the Warp. As he does, an aura appears around him. When his song ends the aura explodes, creating a blinding flash.[1]
- Spontaneous Combustion: Focusing his anger, the Pyromancer can melt and incinerate his foes in an instant. When his rage subsides, the victims explode.[1]
Inquisitor (Game System)
- Blinding Flash - The psyker releases a blaze of power, blinding anyone looking at them.[9]
- Burning Fist - The psyker's hands are wreathed in spitting flames, causing targets they touch to catch fire.[9]
- Fireball - The psyker's hands are engulfed in writhing flames, which can be hurled at an enemy. This is a type of psychic bolt.[9]
- Fire Storm - A more spectacular form of fireball, which causes a raging inferno to explode around the target. This is a psychic bolt with a blast area effect.[9]
Psykana Obscura
- Molten Man: Become a thing of pure heat and flame, a raging inferno with a humanoid form. Destroys all weapons and equipment held. Become immune to fire or flame and only suffering half damage from Plasma, Las, and Melta weapons. Any flammable objects within 5 meters are quickly ignited.[5]

Trivia
- The colour of a psyker's fire can vary. Colours can range from the typical robust yellow-orange[4][7] to gold[10] or yellow, to white, to an increasingly ferocious blue-white.[7][8] Some flames are even purple-edged.[6c] The colour seemingly equating to temperature and amount of power the pyrokine is using for the ability.
- Some pyrokines can even exert unnatural physical force with their flames.[6c]
