Ravana's Bloody-Handed Cogs
Ravana's Bloody-Handed Cogs is the mocking name given to a fleet of Sollexian Adeptus Mechanicus Explorators, that are commanded by Archmagos Ravana.[1]
History
They had splintered from the Adeptus Mechanicus on doctrinal grounds and entered the Koronus Expanse in 747.M41. The Cogs then quickly proved their willingness to fire on anyone, who stood in the way of their goals. Ravana's fleet went on to do battle with Rogue Traders and clashed with other Explorators who were under the direction of Magos Solus Kanceme. Despite this, however, Ravana and her forces remained uncensored by the Mechanicus' overlords. This earned them the mocking nickname "Ravana's Bloody-Handed Cogs" for the crimson and gold Opus Machina graven on the hulls of their vessels. They were then placed in the popular imagination of the Koronus void-born, as little more than sanctioned pirates. A reputation that still lasts to this day.[1]
