The Red Moons are one of the twelve active Great Companies of the Space Wolves.^[1]

Overview

The Wolf of the Red Moon is a skeletal beast that prowls the seven hells in Fenrisian myth, devouring the bodies of the unworthy and yet never growing fat. The Company favours the use of Long Fang and Aggressor Squads.^[1]

Notable Actions

• 999.M41 - The Hunt for the Wulfen. Gunnar and his warriors fought on the besieged world of Emberghul. Killing a lot of invading daemons, Gunnar and his Wolves managed to snatch up the Wulfen.^[2]
• 999.M41 - The Siege of the Fenris System. Gunnar and his warriors were assailed by a daemon — the living incarnation of their totem - made its form as a vast skeletal wolf-creature the colour of dried blood. They managed to destroy apparition with the concentrated firepower of Long Fang packs and Predator squadrons but not before the vile creature killed a lot of brave warriors.^[3]
