Riapax is the only moon of the Death World planetoid Gath Rimmon.[1]
Riapax has a very irregular orbit with a period of 5467 solar years. Once every orbit, the moon's gravitational pull results in the acid oceans that cover Gath Rimmon's surface receding enough to allow exploration of the northern polar region for 34 standard hours.[1]
