Rockcrete
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
(Redirected from Rockrete)
Rockcrete is a type of building material used by the Imperium which is cheap and easy to produce. Native stone is ground up and mixed with binding agents to create thick, heavy slabs used in the construction of walls and flooring.[1] It is sturdier than Concrete and Plascrete, also used as building materials in the Imperium. Rockcrete is often reserved for buildings of the Administratum, where as concrete, plascrete, stone and timber are used for more common general building needs.[2] Rockcrete was invented during the Dark Age of Technology and used in the production of the first proto-hive cities constructed during that era.[3][4]
