Sabellus, the forsaken, the beast, the pitiless, the Ogre of Tarlati, the Canibal of Valbona, was a Crime-lord on the planet Sacer Mons, in the star system of Rimini al-Sadat.^[1]

Biography

When the governor of Sacer Mons died of old age, a period of Chaos ensued, and Sabellus started assassinating his crime-lord rivals, until he was effectively the ruler of the planet. He set up a puppet leader in the form of his mistress, Beatrice Semiramis, daughter of the deceased governor.^[1]

Under his rule, the planet devolved into a lifestyle of debauchery, until Beatrice sent a distress signal in outer space, which was answered by an Explorator Fleet. After brief and bloody fighting, the imperial forces reclaimed the planet.^[1]

Sabellus went into hiding, and his name became a legend for those who didn't enjoy the imperial rule and longed for a more carefree existence.^[1]
