Sacred unguents, also called sacred machine oil,[2] are much sought after liquids with mystical properties and said to be blessed by the Omnissiah. Of their many uses, when applied to a firearm they are known to prevent jamming.[1] Sacred machine oil has significant value to the Adeptus Mechanicus. It is said that the oil soothes agitated Machine Spirits.[2]
