Sagan III is a Adminstratum Tithe-Fortress and a Mass Storage Facility planet in the Sagan Subsector, near the Maelstrom Zone, that played an important role during the events of Badab War. The planet hosts at least four moons.[1b]

Climate - Geography - Biosphere

The atmosphere is dry and temperate with a primary super continental mass. Seas are alkaline and an extensive water purification and irrigation networks is mandatory. Subsistence ecology exist with little precipitation.[1b]

Sagan is well-equipped with planetary defence force with equipment status equivalent to frontline Imperial Guard standards. On the third and fourth moon are mounted surface-to-void batteries.[1b]

Trade - Economy

Since the late M39 the planet has evolved into the primary transhipping station and trade nexus between the Maelstrom Zone and the Imperium, taken by an Administratum Taskforce in 05 667 556.M40, the planet was repurposed as a heavily protected storage and supply facility at which good and materials could be amassed and centralised for shipping to the Karthago Sector and beyond. It serve a secondary function as a weapons and supply storage facility accessed by the worlds of the Maelstrom in return for additional traded resource tithe.[1b]
