Saint Tylus is a Shrine World of the Imperium.[1]
History
In 999.M41, Cassius led a force of Tyrannic War Veterans to the planet to reinforce the Ultramarines Third Company during an invasion by the Tyranids of Hive Fleet Leviathan.[1]
Above Saint Tylus, Cassius located a large form of Bio-ship, the first time one of its type that had been discovered by the Imperium. As it was producing smaller Tyranid organisms at an alarming rate, Cassius attacked the ship with a contingent of Tyrannic War Veterans alongside a Company of Deathwatch Marines from Fort Excalibris, managing to destroy it with Cyclonic Torpedo charges from within despite heavy casualties.[2]
Thanks to the tactics used by Cassius, the Chapter achieved the fastest known victory against a Hive Fleet assault.[1]
