Samarkis is an Imperial Ocean Mining World, that is being invaded by the Tyranids.[1]
History
However the remnants of the world's PDF, the Imperial Navy, several Astra Militarum Regiments, the Tome Keepers and an allied Leagues of Votann strike force, are attempting to save it. They are not only fighting the invading Tyranids, though, but also the Genestealer Cult that infected Samarkis and drew the Xenos to the Mining World.[1]
