Sanian
"War is eternal. It is only mankind that is finite."
Sanian was a Hagian esholi (a scholar, in the Hagian dialect of Low Gothic) who lived during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade.[1a]
Biography
Sanian was born and raised in the town of Bhavnager, before becoming an esholi leaving to find her "way" (Hagians putting great stock on one's personal destiny).[1c]
She was present in Hagia's capital city at the time of the Crusade's actions on Hagia.[1a] When Lord General Lugo gave the order to evacuate Hagia in the face of incoming Chaos reinforcements, a number of Imperial Guardsmen who had been experiencing visions of Saint Sabbat decided to disobey orders to join the evac fleet and instead travel to the Shrinehold of Saint Sabbat, where the Saint's remains were interred. Trooper Brin Milo of the Tanith First and Only asked Sanian to accompany them as a guide, hoping to use her knowledge of the local area to reach the Shrinehold more quickly, and she agreed to travel with them.[1b]
