Scar/AB operatives utilizing forbidden Xenos wargear^[1]

The Scar/AB are a mysterious clandestine Imperial unit, whose operatives specialize in terror tactics including night attacks, trophy taking and worse.^[1]

History

Their motivations for these dire acts remain unknown, as is who or what organisation the Scar/AB work for. It is known, however, that the Scar/AB wield Imperial weapons whose maker's stamps have been filed off and also make use of forbidden Xenos weapons and technology. The unit is led on their missions by a shadowy woman known as the Matriarch Firebrand, who exhibits an unnatural control over her fellow operatives. Many Inquisition agents have died trying to learn exactly where the Matriarch gets her orders from.^[1]

The Scar/AB and the Matriarch Firebrand were created by the Games Workshop employee Tammy Nicholls and they were featured in Warhammer: Visions 18.^[1]
