Sciron is world which sits at the fringes of the Eye of Terror where Realspace meets the Warp, rendering the conditions of the planet volatile and barren. Warp Storms ravage its surface, endlessly forming and reforming its face. Several times in its history the whole world has been pulled into the Warp only to emerge randomly across the Eye of Terror, occasionally even before it last existed.[1]

Ritual of Sciron
Sciron is known for The Ritual in which champions of Chaos from across the Galxy gather to fight one another to claim the right to ask a question of the Daemon-Oracle of Sciron – a Daemon which grants truths to those who seek it.[1]
Renegade Blood Angels Cloten and Lysander completed The Ritual to learn the mark and location of the Daemon Prince which held Leonatos (unaware they were learning Daemon-mark of Leonatos himself). Cloten then struck down the Daemon-Oracle with his Chainsword, unaware he was simply doing as it had forseen and – as he and Lysander had left the corpse to rot – now absent to hear its final warnings.[1]
