Second Battle of Shadowbrink
The Second Battle of Shadowbrink was the second clash between the Tyranids and Chaos on the world of Shadowbrink, taking place sometime after the formation of the Great Rift.[1]

On the world of Shadowbrink, where Hive Fleet Leviathan once defeated a vast daemonic host, Warp energy erupted thanks to the creation of the Great Rift. Drawn by the world's malevolent aura, Hive Fleet Kronos arrived, making eight landings each led by a neural node of Maleceptors and Zoanthropes. Around these organisms the Shadow in the Warp reached such intensity that the Warp rifts on Shadowbrink began to close. Enraged, Khorne's legions stormed towards the Tyranids, but the xenos refused to answer the charge. Instead, the Daemons were met with a storm of Fleshborer fire and artillery-beasts that blasted apart the Daemons by the thousands. Slowly but surely the Daemons were banished back into the warp.[1]
