Securran Janissaries

The Securran Janissaries were Traitor Auxilia Regiments of the Imperium's Solar Auxilia, who served the Alpha Legion, during the Horus Heresy.[1]
History
As the Horus Heresy raged in 013.M31, the Janissaries aided the Traitor Legion in defending Vezdell Secundus, when the Armoury World was invaded by the Space Wolves. The Loyalist Legion was led by their Primarch, Leman Russ, and was so incensed about the casualties they had suffered during the Heresy, that they laid waste to Vezdell Secundus. By the time the battle was over, the Armoury World was left in ruins and the forces of the Alpha Legion and Janissaries defending it, had all been killed.[1]
