Selgar Dorgaddon
Selgar Dorgaddon was Captain of the Sons of Horus' 10th Company during the Siege of Terra.[1]
History
By the end of the Great Crusade, Dorgaddon was a regular Battle Brother in the 10th Company. According to Euphrati Keeler, he was of kind disposition at the time. Unlike his superior Garviel Loken, Dorgaddon sided with the Traitors during the Battle of Isstvan III;[2a] he subsequently rose in the ranks of the legion. In the process, he became increasingly cruel and monstrous, through a fragment of his original personality seemed to still cling to him like a ghost.[2a][2b]
Commanding the 10th Company, by the final stages of the Siege Dorgaddon had fully committed himself to the madness of Chaos and was ignoring Abaddon's orders.[1] He eventually encountered Euphrati Keeler and her column of refugees, recognising the former remembrancer from her time with the Captain's Legion.[2a] This was not enough to stay his hand, and Dorgaddon gave the order to attack the refugees and then prepared to execute Keeler. However he was brutally killed by the Emperor's Champion Sigismund before his Company could land a single blow[2b] and the 10th was destroyed by Sigismund's own forces, shortly afterwards.[2c]
