Selucid Thorakite

The Selucid Thorakites were Imperial Army[1] and Solar Auxilia Regiments,[2] that were raised on the Iron Warriors' Homeworld, Olympia, during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.[1][2]

History
Established only a few short years before the Heresy's eruption from slaves taken from the rebellion on Olympia[5], these troops were used as auxiliary troops by the Iron Warriors' Primarch, Perturabo, and followed the Traitor Legion into rebellion after Isstvan V. Grim-faced and disciplined, the Thorakitai wore khaki uniforms with scaled breastplates and helms resembling those of the Astartes' Mk.IV Power Armour.[1]
Over the subsequent Horus Heresy, the Selucid Thorakites were thrown into the forefront of the Iron Warriors campaigns.[5]
