The Serpentis Rex^[1]

Serpentis Rex is a Thunderhawk^[1] in the Knights Ophidian Chapter.^[2]

History

Like the Knights themselves, the Serpentis Rex was originally part of the Black Templars' Knights Ophidian Crusade, until their fleet was later lost to the Hydra's Maw Warp Storm. They remained trapped within it for years beyond count, before the fleet was finally able to escape^[1]. Sometime afterwards, the Knights Ophidian became a Successor Chapter^[2] to the Black Templars and the Serpentis Rex is currently among the three operational Thunderhawks they have at their command.^[1]
