Setekh was the name of a cunning Necron Nemesor that excelled in propaganda, espionage, and the manipulation of psychological weakness.[1a]

Biography

Setekh was born into elite echelon of nobility. He had attended one of the Necrontyr's most celebrated military academies, where he met Nemesor Zahndrekh, his rival and confidant. After winning his commission, he was given an army and sent off to fight separatists in Yama during the Wars of Secession.[1a]

He later worked under Imotekh the Stormlord as a privateer of sorts. In exchange for freedom to operate, and as penance for undisclosed sins, he had agreed to sacrifice his tomb world, and have it marked as lost to a supernova during the great sleep. Since then, his small dynasty had been nomadic, based entirely aboard his fleet, and charged with furthering the interests of the Sautekh Dynasty among the Ghoul Stars.[1b]

Setekh failed to convince Varguard Obyron to betray his master. He fought them both in Doahht's core, where the Varguard shoved his face towards the planet's unstable engine, burning the Nemesor's face until it remained black and melted.[1c]

Wargear

In battle, Setekh wields a Staff of Light identical to Nemesor Zahndrekh's, save for the blue light blazing from its power core, in contrast to Zahndrekh’s green. He also relies on his twin canoptek skolopendra hunting beasts, Sepa and Sata.[1a]
