Seumas was a Watch Captain of the Deathwatch.^[1]

At one point, Seumas (along with his fellow Watch Captains Drusus and Bresnik) were called on to consider a petition by Chaplain Ortan Cassius to lead a Kill-Team to the Ghosarian System, in order to discover the fate of a previous team who had failed to report in. After hearing Cassius's report on the events leading up to the mission, both Drusus and Bresnik denied Cassius's request, believing a mere delayed report was insufficient to justify a priority mission when the Deathwatch's resources were already spread thin. Seumas, however, believed that Cassius's report supported a pattern that Seumas had noticed on a number of Imperial worlds. After the council, Seumas talked with Cassius privately, helping him to go around the Watch Captains' backs, contact Watch Commander Quovis Vaerion and organise a mission anyway.^[1]

Notes

Seumas's Chapter of origin is not explicitly stated in the source; however, his Chapter's symbol is stated to be a black, winged lightning bolt on a yellow field, possibly making him a member of the Marines Malevolent.
