Silas Hoerz
Silas Hoerz was an Auxiliary of the Star Reavers Solar Auxilia Cohort, serving with the 3rd Infantry Tercio during the Horus Heresy.[1]
Biography
During the Battle for Beta-Garmon, Hoerz was among those soldiers of the Star Reavers deployed on Barren's Landing who were stranded on that world when their drop ships were destroyed. Due to the formation's losses, Hoerz was forced into a number of roles outside his usual infantry assignment - in particular he served as both the driver and the secondary gunner of the Leman Russ Victrix MMXI.[1]
After the Star Reavers on Barren's Landing were rediscovered by the White Scars, Hoerz reassumed his infantry role. His last action on record was fighting in support of a White Scars counterattack in which the majority of the Cohort was wiped out, and it is presumed that Hoerz was among the fallen.[1]
