The Skull Bearers are a Codex Chapter of Space Marines.[1] They claim to be descended from the Executioners Chapter (themself successors of the Imperial Fist), although this is unsubstantiated by the official records.[5]
Notable Engagements
- 508.M41: The Chapter's 2nd Company was involved in the Imbach Genocide, supported by at least one Whirlwind Helios from the Chapter Armoury.[2][6a]
- Sometime between 775.M41 and 780.M41: The entire Chapter deployed during the Fourth Quadrant Rebellion, playing a crucial role in crushing the insurrection.[4]
- 801.M41: Participating in Judgement of Hellenus.[6b]
- M42: The Octarius War — The Chapter fought in the defence of the Pankallis Sub-Sector.[7]
Heraldry
The Skull Bearers wear yellow power armour with black imperialis and markings. The Chapter's symbol is a black skull on a yellow background.[1] They show a Company badge on the left kneepad.[8]
