Skystrike Missiles^[2]

The Skystrike Missile is an air-to-air missile mounted on Imperial Aircraft such as the Lightning.^[1]

It incorporates a heat-seeking warhead for targeting the power signatures and engine exhaust of enemy aircraft.^[1] Even if a fired Skystrike Missile detonates short of its target, having been deflected by countermeasures, its explosion produces a shockwave that can induce tumbling into the targeted aircraft, potentially causing it to crash.^[3]
