Slayer Sabres

Slayer Sabres are a bio-artifact of the Tyranids.^[1]

At the hilt of each of these enormous blades is a shell of diamond-hard chitin. This serves to house the brain of a symbiote organism. With a mental command, the wielder of the weapon can generate a surge of psychic power through this organism that incinerates the sabres victims.^[1]
