The Spear of Macragge is a Battle Barge in service with the Ultramarines Chapter.[1]
In the Age of the Dark Imperium, the Spear of Macragge was used as the base of operations for the Fulminata. By that point, the ship had been in service for ten thousand years, having been active prior to the breaking up of the Space Marine Legions.[1]
One of the notable features onboard the ship was the Chapel of the Dioskuri (or simply the Dioskuri), a chapel which was originally built on the surface of an Imperial world before being taken apart and reassembled brick by brick on the Spear. According to rumours among the crew, the remains of offerings placed in the chapel by the inhabitants of its original world could still be found hidden within the Dioskuri, although many (most notably Chaplain Kastor) doubted these claims.[1]
