'''Jenit Sulla''' was a [[GeneralValhalla]] n officer in the [[Imperial Guard]] sometime in [[M41]] to [[M42]]. However, the The bulk of her military career was spent as a Lieutenant and later a Captain in the [[Valhallan 597th Ice Warriors Regiment]] Regiment under Colonel [[Commissar]] [[Ciaphas CainRegina Kasteen]]. She served the regiment faithfully and went on to become the write only [[Lord General|Lady General]] of the Imperial Guard. She would later write two memoirs: ''Like a Phoenix From the Flames: The Founding of the 597th]]'' and ''Like a Phoenix on the Wing: The Early Campaigns and Glorious Victories of the Valhallan 597th''.
In Commissar the memoirs of [[Ciaphas Cain]], the 597th's memoirsregimental commissar and reluctant Hero of the Imperium, [[Ordo Xenos]] [[Inquisitor]] [[Amberly Vail]] uses Sulla's text, texts (while albeit reluctantly, as Sulla's prose style apparently left something to be desired; Inquisitor Vail often added disclaimers along the lines of "readers with an appreciation of the Gothic language may wish to skip past this"), to fill the gaps in Cain's typically self-centered narrative. She was a rough and tumble officer who had a distaste for Junior junior officers. She worked closely with the Regiment's female Colonel [[Kasteen]], and detested the regiment's male Major [[Brockalw]]Brocklaw. Served with Commissar Ciaphas Sulla also looked up to Cain as something of a Lieutenant mentor, which is somewhat ironic as Cain felt what could at best be described as mild antipathy for her; he described her as headstrong and reckless, often committing herself to actions that would get her and later Captain in her troops (and possibly Cain himself, which concerned him the 597th Valhallanmost) killed. Commissar Whatever Cain believed that Sulla was headstrong and reckless's misgivings about her, however the troops under her command were extremely loyal and trusted her with their lives. Sulla became the first and only Lady General in the Imperial Guard.
