An upgraded version of the primitive chemical reactant guns the #redirect [[Krootrifle]] were using before, the Tau made a more powerful weapon using charged pulse rounds which make it eh equivalent of the [[Imperial]] [[Boltgun]]. Becasue of the Kroot's ferocious nature, the Tau have added blades to the stocks and barrels of the guns to make them formidable close combat weapons.
