The '''Cadian Shock Troopers''' are [[Imperial Guard]] regiments from the fortress world of [[Cadia]]. Cadia is located at the edge of the [[Eye of Terror]] and so forms the first line of defence against [[Chaos]] incursions, such as the [[Black Crusade]]s.Because of this, Cadia is regarded as one of the most strategically important planets in the Galaxy.²⁰

Cadian regiments have been involved in many wars, campaigns and battles off-world.
