=Overview==
As each Company in a Space Marine Chapter has ten Captains, so do the 10 Squads below him have their own Sergeant. A Sergeant will normally be a veteran of hundreds of battles, truly forged in the fires of war, and will lead his squad with an icy calm through the most dangerous of scenarios and emerge victorious.
Most Sergeants take to the field with different weapons from their squadmates, such as the Typical Sergeant of a Tactical Squad wielding a chainsword and bolt pistol as opposed to the bolter. However, more accomplished Sergeants can lay their hands on far more deadly weaponry than this, such as Power Swords, Plasma Pistols or Power Fists.
==Squad Sergeants== ===Space Marine Sergeants===Space Marine Sergeants lead the Marine squads of the battle- and reserve companies. ===Scout Sergeant===Scout Sergeants both teach and lead the Scouts. By giving their skill and experience to future battle-brothers they are arguably among the most influential members of a Chapter.5  ===Veteran Sergeant===Space Marine Veteran SergeantVeteran Sergeant lead the veteran members of the 1st company. ===Terminator SergeantsSergeant===Terminator Sergeants are the best of the Terminator units and lead from the front with superior equipment to the already dominating Terminators within his squad. He will lead anything from 4-9 Terminators in a Terminator Squad or 3-9 Terminators in a Terminator Command Squad if he has proved himself to be good enough4.
