The Deathstrike missile launcher finds itself a uncommon sight on today's [[Imperial]] battle fields. None the less it's combat effectiveness as a long range inter-continental missile is still largely unmatched and when equipped with [[vortex grenade|vortex]] missiles has the capability of tearing boundaries between dimensions and creating great voids of destruction. The vortex warhead designed during the [[Dark Age of Technology]] remains to this day one of the most dreaded weapons of the Imperium and is easily capable of hunting full class [[Titans]] and [[Tyranid Bio-Titans|Bio-Titans]].
Over the years the [[Imperium]] has slowly moved on to more mobile forms of artillery that required less logistical support and have much less complex firing systems. As a result, today's Deathstrikers are mostly involved in the most dire and apocalyptic of battles but can also sometimes be found in smaller formations in need of destruction on a grand scale.<sup>1</sup>:
