When this slug is fired, you pull on a pump to extract the casing, and load a new shell. The shotgun is not very accurate, and has no armor-piercing ability, but it is easier to fire from the hip than the [[lasgun]] .The shotgun is not very popular, most troopers prefer to take a [[hellgun]] , [[lasgun]] , or other substitute.
