[[BL Publishing]] created a retail version of The Imperial Infantryman's Uplifting Primer in 2003. It was written by [[Matt Ralphs]] and is now out of print.
However despite the respect that the Primer is held in officially, unofficially troopers in the field have been known to sacrifice its dignity for more practical uses. For example, in the novel 15 Hours, ttroopers on the front line use the primer as toilet paper.
