The '''Codicium Aeternum''' is an Imperial tome in which the [[Inquisition]] attempted to store record a full and faithful account of the deaths of [[Daemons ]] that the [[Grey Knights]] and Prodigies of the Lords Inquisition have banished, as well as extrapolations of Darknesstheir return. It also contains the explanations of the demon's banishment and manifestation. It is the only known record of the thousands hundreds of daemonic names, including [[Angron]], [[Cherubael]], [[DaemonDoombreed]]s that the , [[Grey KnightsGhargatuloth]] and [[N'Kari]], with the Inquisition have banisheddates and predicted durations of their banishments noted beside.

The Codicium was thought to be lost for decades in the libraries on [[Tethys]]. It had been in truth stolen by rogue [[Inquisitor]] [[Gholic Ren-Sar Valinov]]. It was confiscated after he was taken into custody. The Codicium led Inquisitor [[Ligeia]] and [[Justicar]] [[Alaric]] to the [[Trail of Saint Evisser]] and to hunt the Daemon [[Ghargatuloth]].¹
