[[BL Publishing]] created a retail version of The Imperial Infantryman's Uplifting Primer in 2003. It was written by [[Matt Ralphs]] and is now out of print.
However , despite the respect that intended by the Primer is held in officially's authors, unofficially troopers in the field have been known to sacrifice its dignity for more practical uses. For example, in the novel [[15 Hours]], ttroopers troopers on the front line use the primer as toilet paper.
