Horus Aximand was a captain of the Luna Wolves legion and member of the elite Mournival council. His likeness to Warmaster Horus was so striking that he was affectionately known as Little Horus by his peers. Aximand was heavily involved in warrior lodges that lead to the corruption of the Sons of Horus. When Horus was mortally wounded on Davin's Moon, Aximand was one of the lodge members that agreed to allow the Serpent Lodge on Davin to heal Horus of his wound, which in turn lead to Horus's fall to Chaos. Horus Aximand was in the end responsible for the death of his Mournival comrade Tarik Torgaddon.  Horus Aximand was last seen at the drop site massacre on Isstvan V, fighting alongside the Son's of Horus, accompanying Abaddon. It is unknown what 's clear that a change has happened overcome Aximand as his movements were described as being mechanical and his features devoid of emotion. Aximand's reluctance to kill his Mournival brothers on Isstvan III could be seen as the catalyst for the change. Despite Aximand since's allegiances to the Warmaster, he is always described as a wise and rational Astartes. While ultimately he is tied to his Primarch's cause, much of his personality has been buried.
