Stopping only to rearm, the Night Hawks’ Typhoons kept up the relentless barrage until in the face of the Chapter’s furious assaults the rebels withdrew<sup>1</sup>.
The Night Hawks went on a 50 year campaign to recapture their world of Cloudium from the Eldar which unfortunatly was unsuccessful due to a lack in number of able marines after the previous conflict. The Marines assaulted via drop pod and thunderhawk fighting through the corridors of the fortress monastery, intent on taking back the great city from the Xenos scum. They assaulted with 9 companies and left with just 7. Eventually the council of terra decided the ebst best way to end this problem was by Eradication, the planet was firestormed and destroyed.
