As his name implies, Gorgutz has a penchant for taking the heads of his enemies, for as he pointed out to one particularly unobservant Nob, it would make no sense to put someone's ''foot'' on his "pointy stikk".
He is the longest appearing character in the [[Dawn of War]] series having appeared in [[Dawn of War: Winter Assault|Winter Assault]], [[Dawn of War: Dark Crusade|Dark Crusade]] and [[Dawn of War: Soulstorm|Soulstorm]] without dying. In the comic series the book Blood and Thunder Gorgutz lead a Waaagh in the Demaris Tertiary. Due to an ork Cheiften Skyva a human colnel gets on board and plants explosives. The bombs go off in Gorgutz Gargant and shows Gorgutz in his Gargant as it exploded. His death was not confirmed but soon after will most likely make another ork, Skyva, took over the Waaagh which if Gorgutz did survive it would not be that way do to ork customsreturn.
